Littlegranada’17, a little big fair
Motherhood and everything that surrounds children is fashionable, if you have a look at the social media you will see many children and family-themed blogs … For example, Mamis de Málaga! 😉 There are initiatives, small businesses … and meetings focused on this exciting world around families. An example of this is Littlegranada’17, more than a fair is an event that bring together workshops, stands, art, music, exercise, talks, round tables, food … and an endless number of proposals and details focused on pregnancy, Birth and childhood.
This weekend agenda is full, between the Baby Corner of Natura Málaga and Littlegranada’17 we will not stop (let’s see how do we arrive on Monday) but, no problem, we are going enjoy a lot and, on top of that, we will learn and share experiences.
Today we’d like to introduce you to Littlegranada’17 fair because, although it is going to be celebrated in Granada on 1st and 2nd of April, it is backed by the success of last year and we believe that it could be a good opportunity, for a short break trip, visiting this wonderful neighbouring city and being able to attend some of the varied activities that the fair proposes. And they are free! … Yes, yes, as you read, the entrance to the fair is totally free, in addition it is not necessary to register previously for the activities, although the capacity is limited.
To see a foretaste about what I am talking about, and as an aperitif to get a taste for it you can see this video summary of the last edition:
Cool, right? It shows the good atmosphere and the affection of the fair organization. So, this year we do not want to miss it!
The location chosen this time for Littlegranada’17 has been El Cuarto Real de Santo Domingo, a charming place located in the very centre of the city, at “Plaza de los Campos”. Ideal for those who are not from Granada because there is a parking area very close so we can go walking to the fair (bit of exercise is always welcome!) and, of course, after we can go to eat tapas around the area.
The activities are divided into several stages on the Fourth Royal of Santo Domingo spectacular gardens where we can enjoy two zones of outdoor activities for leisure, music and exercise.
You can get the outside activities program here. Although you should not forget that inside the building there is a conference room where talks and round tables will be held.
A fair has to have exhibitors and Littlegranada’17 is not going to be less. Can you imagine a thematic shopping center focused on motherhood and childhood? Well this is what you can find here: clothing stores, baby carriers, educational centres, bookstores, photography, clinics … and much more with a total of 28.
I’m not going to list all the businesses present at the fair, because it would be very long and on another hand, we don’t live in Granada, so we don’t personally know them. But we will highlight some of the ones that has caught my attention, as
Zacatúa, an organic clothing online store for babies and moms;
Gorgoritos Art & Music, a project that promotes the creation of sonorous communities of learning from the respectful breeding where the music is an essential part or
But the best thing to know them is to escape this weekend to Granada and see them live in situ 🙂
This is not only a fair with exhibitors, it is an event where you can share experiences and knowledge, and to facilitate these synergies, the organization of Littlegranada’17 has created an extensive program. There will be activities divided by zones:
An indoor one, where talks and round tables will take place focusing their subjets on topics such as neurostimulation and play, child feeding or respectful pedagogies.
Two outdoors areas, at the gardens of the Royal Fourth of Santo Domingo, where we can attend an English workshop for moms-dads and babies or building a toy book; As well, we can join Gymnastics Abdominal Hipopresiva (GAH) or attending a miniconcert.
And stands with retro photos, free ultrasounds, loans of baby carrier or paint of tummies, among others.
You can see all the activities program here.
I forgot to tell you the schedule of the fair! It will be from 11 to 21 hours on Saturday and from 11 to 19 hours on Sunday.
We are not going to miss it. What about you, will you join us? 🙂
