Children will be the progagonists at Natura Málaga

Los niños serán los protagonistas en Natura Málaga

Children will be the protagonists at Natura Málaga. This Fair for Healthy and Sustainable Life that celebrates its ninth edition from 31st to 2nd of April at the Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga, incorporates the Baby’s Corner this year. On this edition mothers and fathers can attend conferences, workshops and visit the exhibition area where companies and professionals from the children’s sector will show their products and services.

This is the first time that Natura Málaga has room for a Baby’s Corner and this initiative sounds very good to us. A meeting that focuses on healthy and sustainable life could not ignore a sector as important as families and children.

IV Foro My Matron

As a central act of the Baby’s Corner, Centro mi matrona organizes the Fourth Forum My Matron that will be attended by the renowned pediatrician Carlos González, who will give two lectures:

‘Breastfeeding and weaning food during the first years’, on Saturday, April 1st at 17:30 in the auditorium 2 of the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Malaga.

‘The sleep and affective needs of babies’, on Sunday, April 2nd at 11:30 in the same auditorium.

If you are interested on attending one of these informative talks (or both) I have to warn you that you need a previous invitation and by the time I am writing this post they were sold out!

Apart of the conferences within the Forum, you can join free workshops for families and/or parents to be, and in these cases, booking is not necessary. Natural birth, hypopresivos, infant massage, Baby-Led Weaning… are some of these workshops’ topics. If you are interested, in this link you can find all the information and schedules.

Activities for families and children

Children between 4 and 14 years old will have their space in Natuteca, where they will be able to do some educational crafts to learn how to recycle while having fun. The schedule will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

But not everything stays here, workshops of many different themes will be offered at different times so nobody interested will miss them. We are particularly interested on the following ones:

Workshop on Marine Flora and Fauna offered by Aula del Mar- Alborania

We have focused on talking about the Baby’s Corner, but once you buy your ticket and you get inside you can have a look at the rest of the fair. We can find producers and distributors of articles and services related to agriculture, food, cosmetics, handicrafts, textiles, sustainable tourism, restoration and renewable energy. Also, there will be a selection of companies from the province related to ‘Sabor a Málaga’.
